A new study finds that having some vino before bed may actually help you lose weight.The study, fromWashington State University, looks into the power ofresveratrol, a polyphenol. It is found in red wine and in plus-rechnen topreventing damage to blood vessels and the formation of blood clots, fending off heart disease, reducing low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol and it also can help you lose weight.It converts excess white fat into the much better calorie-burning beige fat (the prettiest of all fats.)Animal Sciences Professor Min Du and visiting scientist Songbo Wang demonstrated through experimentation that mice fed a diet with 0.1% resveratrol were able to turn their excess white fat into beige fat.Another study also found that drinking wine at night could also help reduce pre- bed snacking which could also help with weight loss.Now you could just eat some berries and grapes as they have resveratrol but that would be way less fun.
